Well, I guess if the shoe fits....

What we apparently have here, is someone with a huge ego. Obviously larger than his brain cavity at least. Recently, Democratic Nomination hopeful Barack Obama decided that when President Bush made comments about the foolishness of negoiating with terrorists, that naturally, President Bush was referring to him. Why? What makes you think you're so special that President Bush would out-right be talking about you? You're seriously not that special are you? I don't know, maybe you are. At least in your mind.

President Bush's actual comment is as follows and can be found rom many sources, Conservative (foxnews.com and Foxnews) as well as Liberal (everything else including most if not all newspapers, Air America, CNN, MSNBC and just about everything else known to man and the God Libs apparently don't believe in enough due to a savage fear of children in school only being allowed to be told that Evolution is the only way) is as follows: “Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along…We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

Now, exactly what about this comment says "Barack"? And, what about this comment is false? It is a fact that some tried to appease Hitler, foolishly believing that they alone could have prevented the slaughter of Jews that followed, as well as the domination of much of Europe at the time by Hitler. Now, we have a new Hitler, by his own words, who says that Israel should be "wiped off the map". This, of course, would be the President of Iran, Ahmadinejad.

There is nothing even close that would suggest President Bush was specifically talking about Senator Obama. President Bush speaks about this delusion of "let's talk to the terrorists and see what we can do to change their thinking." Well, let's look at that thinking for a second. Let's imagine a conversation between a terrorist nation and a Liberal politician trying to talk to them. I'll include nations, and individuals.

Iran: We want to kill all the Jews.

Liberal: But certainly, even though they have a different blief system than you, you can see that they have a right to exist?

Iran: All Jews must die.

Liberal: But they're a soverign nation, it is important to see that they seek peace and to exist, just as you do.

Iran: They should be wiped off the map. The whole country of Israel should be wiped off the map. The Holocaust is a myth, it never happened.

Liberal: How can we help your two nations to get along?

Iran: Help us kill the Jews and destroy Israel.

Liberal: But they're people just like you, only different beliefs.

Iran: Kill Israel, they should be destroyed, all killed.

Note that there's not much change here. Iran, and their president, have a one track mind. Period. There's no changing their mind. They've stated their position, talking to them isn't working here. Another example.

Bin Ladden: Americans must die, you're all infidels.

Liberal: Certainly we can live in peace, we admit that we have wronged the Muslims many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many (infinite) times in the past.

Bin Ladden: For which you must all accept Islam, your women should be repressed, you all need to die.

Liberal: But women have rights in our culture.

Bin Ladden: Then you all die. We should kill you all. You all need to die.

Ok, I think this has run it's course. Clearly, Bin Ladden is not interested in negoiating here. He wants to kill us. So Mr. Liberal, how can you negoiate with that? You can't. You either accept the fact terrorists and terrorist nation, want to do what they want to do, or you're wasting your time talking to them. They won't listen. I'd do an example with former President Carter and his attempted appeasement of Hamas and their desire to kill off all the Jews in Israel, but I think you'd get the point. Libs wouldn't, but intelligent people would.

In any case, it is only the Liberals who want to talk with people who want to kill others. So, let me ask. How'd that work in WWII? Not so good huh? Hitler pretty much did what he wanted. In modern times, Former President Carter tried talking to the leader of Hamas and boasted about a peace deal he alone reached. Yeah, thanks Jimbo. Worked out great apparently as Hamas is still committed to killing the Jews.

Barack doesn't seem to think President Bush was talking about anyone but him. I thought Obama knew who Carter was and that Carter tried to appease Hamas. Certainly Obama knew that San Fran Nan (Nancy Pelosi) tried to go and talk Syria out of being a terrorist nation. Yeah, I don't recall that working so well either. So, time and again, it's been demonstrated that negoiating with terrorists doesn't work. Yet, Libs want to keep at it. How about another example? We tried, through the U.N., to talk Iran out of developing nuclear technology for "energy" and "not for nuclear weapons". Yeah right, I'm sure that Iran has no intention of nuking Israel, even though they've repeated, and it has been documented even in Liberal circles, that they believe Israel should be wiped off the planet. Perhaps Iran will send all of their nuclear electricity to Israel in the hopes all the homes will be over loaded and catch fire and they'll all burn to death? Naw, probably just nuke them. In any case, the U.N. talking with Iran and placing sanctions on them didn't work. Yet, you've still got Libs, of which Obama is one mind you, that think they are smooth talkers and can talk anyone out of anything. Yeah, well, I'm not sure Israel feels comfy with that, and I don't either cause your track record on that so far is lousy!

Obama says that at a time when Israel is celebrating their 60th anniversary as a nation, it's a poor way to celebrate it by President Bush and John McCain firing a personal attack at him. Really. Again Barack, YOUR NAME WAS NEVER MENTIONED! If the shoe fits though, I guess you're feeling guilty for some reason. Perhaps it's because you didn't want intelligent people to know you'd bend over for terrorists and state "thank you sir, may I please have another?". You've already stated you'd talk to terrorist, specifically you said you'd "meet with nations like Iran without preconditions." Just what do you plan to tell them that will make them change their minds? See my scenarios above if you really have to wonder.

It is entirely foolish, and arrogant, that any Liberal politican feels that they can save the world with a little heart to heart. It's been tried and it doesn't work. They repeatedly demonstrate it does, the most recent, of course, is former President Carter. Ah, but why is that not being talked about in the Non-Liberally Biased Media? Because, to do so, would make Senator Obama stutter. Obama says he will debate President Bush and John McCain anytime, anywhere and that they "have a lot to answer for". I welcome that Senator Obama. I heartily welcome that. I'd love to hear you justify why you think you alone can convince terrorist nations how wrong they are and you and your Lib friends can get them to change their minds! If the shoe fits Senator Obama, then wear it. Personal attack indeed.
